Grey Mirrored Acrylic Details
Please see below for our advice on installation.
Our grey mirrored acrylic has been treated with a reflective coating to create a mirrored finish. The grey colour gives it a unique and sophisticated look that is perfect for a range of applications. Whether you're an architect, designer, or DIY enthusiast, grey mirrored acrylic is a great choice for any project that requires a sleek and modern look.
Grey mirror acrylic is a versatile and stylish material that offers a range of advantages over other materials such as glass. It is more shatter resistant than glass, and it is also lighter - making it safer and easier to work with. Perspex® Mirrored Acrylic products feature the industry's most resilient backing, guaranteeing optimal protection for your mirror. Acrylic Sheets also have excellent weathering properties and will not discolour from UV light, so this material would also be ideal to use as an acrylic garden mirror.
Keeping your acrylic mirror clean and hygienic is also easier to maintain than a glass mirror, as all that is required is warm soapy water and a microfibre cloth.
When you choose to buy from Cut My, you can expect great customer service, prompt delivery, and expert cutting techniques with our cutting tolerance of +/- 1mm. If you are looking for a standard mirror glass alternative, we also provide silver mirrored sheets in 3mm and 5mm. Additionally, If mirrored finishes are not what you are looking for, feel free to explore our coloured acrylic range too. To help you find the ideal colour or finish, we provide the option for you to order a sample before finalizing your order.

Installation
For installation, we suggest using a hard board and an adhesive designed to be used with mirrors, the adhesive must be non-solvent and applied evenly to the surface with a roller. See our mirror fitting guide to learn more. Some distortion may still occur due to the nature of acrylic mirrors, the distortion of the acrylic mirror is a characteristic of this product and is not a manufacturing issue.
Using an adhesive on the acrylic mirror sheet and using an MDF backing is the most common choice for both ease and simplicity, providing a professional, smooth finish and most importantly, a secure fit.
Please note that the larger the mirror the higher the chance of a distorted image being reflected, to avoid this we recommend fixing to an 18mm MDF backing and ensuring the mirror is installed fully flush to the MDF or a completely smooth wall. We strongly advise that you use a trained professional to install your mirrors in order to maintain high-quality reflection.
Acrylic mirrors are more flexible than traditional glass mirrors and need to be perfectly flat to prevent distortion. For installation, we suggest using a hard board such as MDF and an adhesive designed to be used with mirrors, the adhesive must be non-solvent and applied evenly to the surface with a roller. See our mirror fitting guide to learn more.

Please note you are purchasing mirrored acrylic, there is no frame or mount included.
To install our mirrored acrylic, you only require either an appropriate drill bit or adhesive glue. While we do strongly advise that you use a professional to install your mirrors, we have also provided a DIY guide for how to install your mirror. We do also recommend that if you are intending on getting the mirror to look flat, it is backed on an engineered flat, and strong surface, such as our 18mm MDF.
