Weather Resistant

With both UV and weather resistance, plastic boat windows can withstand most weather conditions so they can be used both indoors and outdoors. Perspex® acrylic has a 10-year guarantee which covers outdoor ageing behaviour as well as strength and rigidity.

Durable

Acrylic is ten times stronger than glass, meaning it is much more likely to withstand any impact. With a higher impact tolerance to acrylic sheeting, clear polycarbonate sheets make a stronger, long-lasting alternative to both acrylic and glass.

Malleable

Clear cast Perspex® acrylic sheeting is easy for us to fabricate and cut, drilled and shaped to any requirements, so it’s a flexible material to work with. The cut surfaces can be polished and sanded easily for a more professional finish to your sheeting.

Maintainable

All of our boat window plastic options are equally easy to clean, with just warm soapy water and a microfibre cloth needed to ensure a hygienic finish.

100% Recyclable

Perspex® Acrylic is 100% recyclable. Waste products can readily be recovered from the original raw material (the monomer) and re-used in a new sheet.

Perspex® has been manufactured in the UK for over 85 years and still takes place on the same site in Lancashire as it did in the 1930s. This short supply distance to our UK customers helps reduce ‘product miles’ from the manufacturing plant to the end user.

Numerous different investments have already been made by Perspex® to lessen the impact on the environment.
