One of the advantages of our dark red acrylic mirrored sheets is its deep, bold and vibrant colour. Buying and Installing Dark Red Mirrored Acrylic Sheets

When buying and installing our mirrored acrylic sheets, we recommend the following steps to achieve the best results:

1. Thickness and Sizing Recommendations: For larger mirrors (such as over 1000mm in width or length), there is a higher chance of a distorted image being reflected. We recommend opting for the 5mm thickness silver mirror to minimise image distortion as a thicker acrylic reduces the flexibility.

2. Backing Material: Ensure that the surface you are applying the mirrored acrylic to is flat and even. For optimal results, especially with larger mirrors, it is crucial to back the acrylic mirror onto a hard board, such as 18mm MDF backing (which we can cut to size too!). This provides stability and helps reduce image distortion.

3. Check Your Mirrored Acrylic Sheet: All our mirrored acrylic sheets come with a protective film on the front side. Remove this film before installation to inspect the product for any damages. Note that we cannot offer refunds or replacements for installed products, so please check thoroughly before proceeding to install.

4. Adhesive: We recommend using our all-in-one non-solvent adhesive for installation. Make sure to apply the adhesive evenly to the surface using a roller for a secure fit. While this method is the most common and provides a smooth, professional finish, you can also use an appropriate drill bit for mechanical fixing if preferred.

5. Professional Installation: If you're uncertain about the installation process, we strongly recommend hiring a trained professional to ensure a high-quality reflection and secure installation.

Please Note: Some degree of distortion may still occur due to the flexible nature of acrylic mirrors. This is not a manufacturing defect but an inherent characteristic of the material. Please keep in mind that your purchase includes the mirrored acrylic only, without a frame or mount.

Ordered 18mm plywood panels for my guitar pedalboard build. My provided .dxf files contained plenty of rounded corners and cut-out sections, all of which were cut perfectly and very neatly, exactly as per spec. Bit of tear out here and there, and a few voids in the ply, but that's to be expected with this material. Nothing that Ronseal and sandpaper can't fix! Overall, very happy. Highly recommended.

I ordered four bits of clear acrylic to protect some furniture whilst I’m renting my house out. Two were custom designs to fit an unusually shaped bedside table top. I had uploaded a shape file (.dxf) so the shape could be cut accurately, but the file was wrong. Although it did take quite a few days for someone to get in touch with me about this, from then on the company (James G) were SO helpful and communicative, they even kindly gave me a discount on the design fee they would usually charge if the customer doesn’t have a dxf or other shape file. The order was processed extremely quickly after chatting with James and it even arrived at my house the day before it was scheduled to. The quality of the acrylic pieces is excellent - they arrived in perfect condition and even though I couldn’t afford to pay for polished edges, the edges & corners are smooth and neat. Very happy with the service I received and would definitely use Cutmy again.

The original item I received was hardwood ply, so I submitted photos and a complaint via their website and someone emailed the next day and apologised and said a replacement (correct timber) would be dispatched. I was looking to replace the glass top on my patio table which had broken, with a Perspex replacement. I found the website very easy to use and placed an order and made the payment. I then received an order confirmation with a delivery date of the following day. I thought this a bit odd as it was quite late in the day and their website stated that they closed at 4pm. Over the next few days I tracked my order through to despatching status but the delivery date never moved from the original date given. I woke up one morning to find an email in my inbox timed at 6.30am stating delivery would be made between 11.00 and 13.00 that day. I'm not sure what would have happened if I had been working that day. At 9.30am the doorbell rang and there was my delivery. I hadn't cleared the way through to the back garden at this time so the driver had to wait until I made space for him to get through. He was both polite and cheerful and said that he'd tried to call earlier to let me know that he would be much earlier than the schedule, which he had but I'd missed his call. The product was perfect, fit a treat but the whole order was slightly let down by poor communication over the delivery date. Hence I've deducted one star.
