Cherry Veneered MDF Details

Our crown-cut real cherry veneered MDF adds an elegant finish to standard MDF with a smooth, uniform wood grain. The reddish-brown cherry wood sourced from North America often contains attractive black deposits and small knots. When exposed to light, the wood takes on a warmer, weathered tone.

The veneer is high-quality cherry wood bonded to an 18mm MDF board. It is sliced at a right angle to produce the iconic cherry grain pattern that can be customized.

Extremely versatile, our 19mm cherry veneered MDF suits furniture, kitchen door and drawer fronts, wall shelving, mouldings, dining sets, surrounds and accepts stains and paints. The smooth MDF faces also work well with additional veneers and laminates.

We customize cherry-veneered MDF to any size or spec with our CNC machine. The lightweight sheets are easy to cut and sand using basic tools. Proper protective equipment should be used.

Our MDF contains fibres from sustainable sources like thinnings, recycled wood and sawdust. Suppliers are FSC and PEFC certified.

The cherry veneer provides a clean, decorative solid cherry look while retaining the strength and stability of the MDF core.
