All our shelves are handcrafted in our Sussex workshop to the highest standards. Choose from solid pine or a range of high-quality MDF and MFC finishes. Each shelf is made to the width you specify, with a fixed depth of 225mm and thickness of 50mm, designed to sit perfectly on our cast iron pipe brackets.
What's included?
✔ Shelf board - cut to your chosen width, handcrafted in the UK.
✔ Cast Iron Metal Shelf Brackets - black, heavy-duty brackets with pre-drilled holes for wall fixing. We supply the correct number of brackets for your shelf width and number of tiers, with one additional bracket added per metre of shelf width.
Please note:
Screws and wall plugs are not included. We don't pre-drill holes in the shelf — this gives you the freedom to position your brackets to suit your wall and fixings. See our fitting guide below for screw recommendations.
The Brackets
Our pipe shelf brackets are cast from high-quality black cast iron and built to last. Each bracket has pre-drilled holes ready for wall screws — no additional drilling required on the bracket itself.
The number of brackets supplied depends on your shelf width and tier count:
2 brackets per tier as standard
1 additional bracket added for every metre of shelf length
So, for example, a 1-metre single-tier shelf includes 2 brackets; a 1.2-metre shelf includes 3.
MDF & MFC
MDF and MFC shelves are cut to size from your chosen material and colour, with matching edge banding applied to all exposed edges for a clean, finished appearance. The fixed depth of 225mm ensures a precise fit on the pipe brackets.
Solid Pine
Pine shelves are cut to your chosen width, then sanded and finished with your chosen wax colour. The natural grain and wax finish give a warm, characterful look that suits both industrial and rustic interiors.
Easy Installation
Installing your shelf is a hassle-free process, allowing you to quickly transform your space. Each bracket comes with pre-drilled holes, ensuring a precise fit and straightforward installation.
Each bracket attaches to the wall using screws (not supplied). The right screw for you will depend on your wall type.
Once you have mounted the brackets to the wall, simply place the shelf board on top. If desired, you can screw upward through the bracket into the underside of the shelf to secure it in place.
