I came across ‘Cut My’ when I was planning my full height shaker wall. I LOVE the rendered version you can create on the website with all the measurements on before purchasing. It really gives you an insight into how your project will look. The wood came within a reasonable time and was all the perfect sizes and as ordered. I 100% recommended ‘Cut My’ as usually, convenience comes at a hefty price however, not with this company. It’s convenient and great value. I’m already planning my next paneling project!

Honestly amazing service from start to finish. The internal glazing looks amazing on my 19th century windows, you literally cannot tell that there is clear plastic on the inside held by magnetic strip. The sound proofing and heat proofing is extraordinary. All for an affordable price. I am not a major DIY-er but I managed to fit this internal glazing myself. What are the benefits of Perspex® acrylic blocks compared to glass?

Perspex provides similar optical clarity as glass but is lighter weight, more impact-resistant and easier to fabricate. It transmits 92% of visible light with no colour distortion.

Can you create shapes other than squares/rectangles?

Yes, we can fabricate acrylic blocks into circles and other custom shapes using CNC machining. You can reach out to us at info@cutmy.co.uk to discuss your fabrication needs.

How should Perspex® blocks be cleaned?

Use mild soap and water or acrylic cleaning agents. Avoid glass cleaners, bleach and abrasive scrubbers which can scratch the Perspex surface.

Crystal clear acrylic which I've used for secondary glazing single-paned windows. Works superbly with appropriately built and insulated frame, and also offers excellent soundproofing. So clear you can barely see it, but I can certainly feel the insulation. Suggest you use masking tape to mark any drill holes and drill through with metal drill bits, as this helps prevent cracking. All-in-all, very happy and will definitely use CutMy again.
