Our 30mm acrylic blocks provide an ideal material for a wide variety of applications. For those seeking a practical alternative to glass, this material delivers a strong solution. At Cut My, we can supply your 30mm clear acrylic sheets cut to size according to your specific requirements with industry-leading accuracy in cutting tolerances. We can also provide polished edges on cut sheets should you require a more attractive finish. Acrylic sheets can likewise be easily maintained through cleaning with a microfiber cloth and plastic polish.

What are the benefits of Perspex® acrylic blocks compared to glass?

Perspex provides similar optical clarity as glass but is lighter weight, more impact-resistant and easier to fabricate. It transmits 92% of visible light with no colour distortion.

Can you create shapes other than squares/rectangles?

Yes, we can fabricate acrylic blocks into circles and other custom shapes using CNC machining. You can reach out to us at [email protected] to discuss your fabrication needs.

How should Perspex® blocks be cleaned?

Use mild soap and water or acrylic cleaning agents. Avoid glass cleaners, bleach and abrasive scrubbers which can scratch the Perspex surface.

Web site is great and easy to use, prices are very fair and of course it includes cutting to size. Service and delivery no problems, but when you order you get an expected delivery date , and to quote the site “don’t get excited we may not meet this date “ which in my case they didn’t but delivery was still in a reasonable time. Just a point, but if you need it for a certain time, allow them time to produce what you need and order early.

Customer service is always the indicator of the quality of a business, cut my were one of the best experiences I have had. My first order was delivered with another parcel that wasn’t mine. When I called the problem was solved and apologies given, no excuses just great communication. I screwed up my first one with my measurements however I found an unintended use for it - I ordered again for my air conditioner and seriously it’s the best thing I ever did. CutMy is a really useful site too and the ability to order precut wood saves a novice like me lots of time and effort. I was surprised they could cut and deliver so quickly too which was a bonus. People may think the prices are high but for the convenience and speed of delivery, I'd say it's worth it. My only observation outside of this fantastic service is maybe to tweak the delivery estimate you get on the website slightly, as it can appear to promise a date that is not achievable. The customer service was polite and 5 star! The delivery of items with damaged edges in multiple places for the white melamine faced plywood - fpr a sample size and full size - was less than ideal. BUT, we received a prompt full refund for the purchase when providing adequate photographs, no problem. They do stand by threir policy for customer saitisfaction with different options in this kind of situation. It seems like quality control is lacking. The pieces were very well packaged with thick foam bumpers, good fast delivery - damages not the courier's fault in our opinion. I finessed the damaged edges myself because I could, but we shouldn't have to do that. So you take your chances. It is good value.
