Due to my own stupidly I did not realise there was a protective film, as I could not get my nail underneath and thought the surface was scratched.
I email support and had a speedy response re protective surface which I eventually managed to remove to find a perfect surface.

The cases arrive as a flat pack to minimise the risk of damage during shipping. But don’t worry, they are easy to assemble with the included slots and corner brackets, all included. All of our acrylic display cases boast an innovative stackable design which not only optimises space but also simplifies the assembly process. For now, the stackable design only applies to two or more of the same product display case. However, due to the size of this Lego® set, we would not recommend stacking these vertically as it may compromise the stability of your case.
