The shelves I ordered were perfect, we have a cupboard that contains a fuse board, WiFi router, wiring for an EV charger, it was hard to find a use for it as it was small, we found your web site ordered 4 shelves turned the room into a larder. The shelves were easy to order, pay for and they were delivered quickly. Great service.

I have used a number of other companies to provide cut-to-size acryllic or perspex sheets. They have all been sub-par with lack of attention to requirements and vastly inflated delivery costs. I have ordered 3 separate items from CutMy in the last month. Firstly, the online ordering experience could not be simpler with every option clearly marked and a constantly updating schematic appearing as you refine the requirements of the order. The price on all 3 occasions was reasonable but the major thing that impressed me compared to the other suppliers I had used was quick delivery at a very reasonable price. The first item delivered I would score as 8 out of 10. The size was perfect, the polished edges were good but not perfect but worryingly there was a very obvious scratch of about 8 cm right through the protective film and encroaching into the actual product. As it happened it was placed in such a way to be invisible when the sheet was used for my needs. The second order was more complicated with 2 off of an item including polished edges, rounded corners and drilled holes. This item was perfect in every way and absolutely 10 out of 10! The third item was simpler but a perfect item was delivered within 2 days of ordering. Overall I am delighted with the items delivered but there is maybe an opportunity for enhanced QA on occasion.

A fantastic company. I ordered some small pieces of acrylic for a custom 3D printed minifigure display case. In the past, I would have purchased a sheet and cut it to size myself. This is both messy and a pain in the bum. Cut My do all of the hard work for you. There are a very wide range of options. To make it all even better, the prices are very reasonable. Give them a try, you won't regret it.

Easy ordering, quick delivery, decent quality. Loses a star as I was surprised the desk top was delivered without being wrapped or protected in any way, and it did have a slight dent on one side as a result, but as this would not be seen when in situ we decided to keep it.

I needed two pieces of marine ply of different thicknesses to replace a small double glazed unit in my conservatory in order to fit an extract fan neatly. I needed a circular hole in both in the same place to fit the fan through. I could have made them myself but decided to save the effort and cost of buying larger pieces. The two pieces I needed arrived cut accurately with the circular cut outs precise much better than I could have done at home with my power tools. Edges were very clean cut. All quickly delivered without fuss. An excellent service of top quality, and I would certainly use again.

I ordered all the mdf for a media wall unit and each piece was cut to spec. Delivery arrived promptly on expected date. Save me £££'s I would have spent on hiring someone simply because I don't have the tools to cut such large pieces. Delighted to have found them and planning to use again. Highly recommend!

I would have given 5 star but the pva glue provided had been squashed in transit, leaked on some of the wood/mdf boards but with a little filler and paint it's not too noticeable. I am 65 and despite my own reservations was able to put it all together myself. Initially 3 boards fell off so I re glued using a caulking gun thus applying a lot more 'no nails' adhesive and I also used panel pins to secure it whilst the glue cured. My friend who is a set builder was expecting the worst but was impressed and amazed how good it looked and appeared interlocked as tongue and groove...with no sign of the individual boards. It's not inexpensive but it works and transforms a room. There was a wait but as it is custom cut I was prepared to wait.

Sustainable Wood

Made To Measure Walnut Lip Up Shelf

All our shelves are hand crafted in our Sussex workshop to the highest standards using 100% sustainable MDF with a beautiful crown cut real wood veneer.

Each shelf is 50mm thick, 225mm deep and is cut to any length you require so that it fits your space perfectly.

What's included?

✔ Shelf board - One veneered MDF shelf board handcrafted in the UK.

✔ Cast Iron Metal Shelf Brackets - With pre-drilled holes for easy installation. We provide a minimum of two brackets with an extra bracket per 1m of shelf board.

✔ Screws - 25mm screws to attach the bracket to the shelf and 50mm screws to attach the bracket to the wall.

Please note:

Wall plugs are not included.

We do not pre-drill bracket holes in the shelf, this gives you the freedom to select the placement of your brackets.

Sustainability

Our Walnut Lip Up Shelf is made of 100% sustainable wood sourced from FSC® certified forests. The FSC certification confirms that the forest is being managed to uphold biodiversity, enhance the well-being of local communities and workers, and maintain its economic viability.

High-quality Brackets

Crafted from high-quality cast iron, our Lip Up brackets are built to withstand the test of time. The meticulous casting and finishing of the brackets ensures a smooth surface with consistent dimensions.

We include as many brackets as needed for your size of shelf, adding an additional bracket for each metre of shelf.

Easy Installation

Installing your shelf is a hassle-free process, allowing you to quickly transform your space. Each bracket comes with pre-drilled holes, ensuring a precise fit and straightforward installation.

Weight Capacity

We’d love to give you the weight capacity of your shelf but this simply isn’t possible as it depends on a variety of factors such as the length of your shelf, whether your wall is masonry or plasterboard and the wall plugs you use.

To hold the most weight we recommend fixing to a masonry wall with at least 50mm screws and wall plugs. It will hold considerably less weight if fixed to a plasterboard wall or studs.

Delivery depends on the size of your order
