I needed a a mix of flat aluminium bar in different thickness and length.
They were all delivered in perfect condition and to the millimetre as ordered.

They were super fast
They were super fast. Clearly, we are talking only MDF here. You can get a sheet of MDF at B&Q for a tenth of the price, and cut into strips....... if you need lots of one size...... BUT, if you want to add a lovely small shelf to your panelling to really finish it off (and I forget the correct name), you would have to buy another sheet, in another thickness, and pay your builder maybe £40 per hour to cut up the little fiddly pieces etc. With Cut My, we ordered a 3m long Shaker style panel, with all the small fiddly bits for £123, and it was with us the FOLLOWING day - well wrapped etc. and ready to fit !. Brilliant idea.

I needed a transparent cover for the top of a sideboard that my cats liked to jump on, to protect it from scratches - better than old tablecloth & piles of books I was using! I got the glass-finish plastic and it does a great job, not too obtrusive and protects the top exactly as it should, meaning I can clear the top and just have a nice sideboard. All our shelves are hand crafted in our Sussex workshop to the highest standards. We use sustainable Redwood Pine and apply a protective coat of wax in a antique pine finish. The wax enhances the grain pattern while also safeguarding the wood.
Each shelf is 225mm deep and is cut to any length you require so that it fits your space perfectly.
What's included?
✔ Shelf board - One solid Scandinavian Redwood Pine shelf board handcrafted in the UK.
✔ Cast Iron Metal Shelf Brackets - With pre-drilled holes for easy installation. We provide a minimum of two brackets with an extra bracket per 1m of shelf board.
✔ Screws - 25mm screws to attach the bracket to the shelf and 50mm screws to attach the bracket to the wall.
Please note:
Wall plugs are not included.
We do not pre-drill bracket holes in the shelf, this gives you the freedom to select the placement of your brackets.

Weight Capacity
We’d love to give you the weight capacity of your shelf but this simply isn’t possible as it depends on a variety of factors such as the length of your shelf, whether your wall is masonry or plasterboard and the wall plugs you use.
To hold the most weight we recommend fixing to a masonry wall with at least 50mm screws and wall plugs. It will hold considerably less weight if fixed to a plasterboard wall or studs.

These are super sturdy and very nicely finished. Given that they are former railway sleepers, I thought they might have a rough finish, but these are beautifully smooth and oiled. We used them to display several heavy sculptures. They look great.
