Frosted Perspex® Acrylic Sheets

Frosted Acrylic Sheets come with a 2-sided smooth and aesthetic matte finish which is consistent across the entire sheet. We supply them in white, stone grey and slate grey colours and these can all be cut to your exact sized requirements in both 3mm and 5mm thicknesses. The matte finish gives the popular effect of sandblasted or acid-etched glass. Whether you're an interior designer, architect or tradesman, our frosted acrylic sheets are the perfect choice for your next project.

This contemporary, frosted Perspex® Acrylic, is commonly used to modernise a room either as a door pane, or a privacy divider. In addition to being a smart design style, Frosted Perspex® is frequently used in hygienic environments and places where privacy is important. One of our most popular uses for frosted acrylic is for privacy shed windows since the material is weather-resistant and decreases visibility whilst still allowing light to pass through. Applications

Privacy screens - Frosted perspex can be used to create privacy screens or divider panels that obscure visibility but still allow light through, useful in offices, hospitals, classrooms etc.
Light diffusers - The frosted finish helps diffuse light evenly. Frosted panels are often used as covers over light sources as an alternative to lampshade materials.
Signage - Frosted perspex is commonly used for backlit signs, displays and lettering. The translucent finish allows light to shine through while obscuring the internal components.
Decorative accents - Frosted perspex can add a modern, sleek look when used decoratively in wall panels, cabinet doors, tabletop protectors and so forth.
Bathroom features - Frosted shower doors, screens and bathroom windows allow light in while obscuring views. This provides privacy and a smooth, uniform look.
Skylights and windows - Frosted perspex panels make ideal skylights or replacement greenhouse windows, allowing soft diffused natural light into a space.

Despite careful measurements I wasn't sure what the finished piece of worktop would be like, but I needn't have worried - it was well protected in the packaging and fitted the top of the single cupboard perfectly. The wood is good quality with neat edging to finish it off.
