5mm Mild Steel Sheet Applications
- Vehicle/Trailer Flooring: A 5mm sheet is thick enough for flooring in utility trailers, flatbeds, van conversions, or DIY campers. The smooth mild steel takes spray liners well.
- Metal Ducting: HVAC ducting, dust collection hoods, and fume exhaust pipes can be fabricated from 5mm sheet steel and welded or riveted.
- Boxing In: For capping off exposed pipes, beams, or utilities, a 5mm sheet provides clean rectangular covers to "box in" unsightly elements.
- Kick Plates - 5mm works for kick plates on the bottom of doors to prevent scuffing and damage. The sheet can be cut to size and screwed on.
