If purchasing our cable outlet, you will need a circle cutout with an 80mm diameter.

1. Select ‘Yes’ to add a rectangle or circle cutout.
2. Add the length, width or diameter of the cutout. 
3. To position the cutout use the ‘Alignment’ section. Click ‘Custom’ add your offset left and offset bottom measurements in mm. Check the visuliser to ensure your cutout is in the correct location.

How do I measure where the cutout should be?

For ‘Offset Left’ measure from the left edge to the cutout edge.

For ‘Offset Bottom’ measure from the bottom edge to the cutout edge as in the diagram.

You will need:

• 2 straight edges
• A curved corner

Step 1. Place a straight edge along each surface edge of the curved corner as in the diagram below and mark the points where the curve starts (A)

Step 2. From (A) create straight lines so that they both meet to make a quarter of a circle.

Step 3. Measure the length of each line, they should be the same. This is your radius.

If you have access to a printer you can also use this handy template to measure the radius of a corner. Make sure you change your print settings to print to actual size. Once printed you can check its actual size with the reference scale and a ruler.
