What is the desk top made of?

The top is made from 25mm Real Oak Veneer on an MDF core with a white edge finish. The white 3-rod hairpin legs are made of powder-coated steel.

Can I have a custom size?

Yes, we offer made-to-measure options to fit your space perfectly. Simply choose Custom in the Size options above and add the length and width required.

How much weight can the hairpin legs support?

While the manufacturer doesn't provide an official weight limit due to the many factors that affect overall strength, like the desk size, construction, and how it's used, hairpin legs of this type are generally suitable for supporting up to 50kg when used appropriately. For typical desk use (laptops, monitors, stationery), they provide more than enough stability and strength.

How easy is it to maintain?

To protect the oak veneer, we recommend lacquering it and wiping it clean with a soft cloth. Avoid using harsh abrasives, prolonged exposure to water, and treat it as you would real wood.

Is assembly required?

Yes, but it’s simple! Assembly instructions are provided along with screws, most users can complete setup in 30 to 60 minutes.

Are screws included?

Yes, screws to attach the legs to the desk top are included.

Are there pilot holes in the desk top?

No, we do not add pilot holes for you so that you’re not restricted on where you put the legs.

Will the hairpin legs damage my floor?

The legs come with little feet to protect your floor, these will be a matching colour to the legs, you’ll barely notice they’re there.

On the website it was straightforward to put in the measurements for the 4 pieces of MDF I required. I was advised of the delivery date and the order was delivered on time, well packaged, and more importantly, undamaged. The MDF was cut exactly to my measurements and all 4 pieces fit perfectly.
