Easy to Maintain

Purple splashbacks are easy to clean and maintain by simply wiping them down with soapy water and a cloth. This is often all you need to do to keep your purple acrylic or glass splashback looking pristine.

Colour Samples

Can’t decide on a colour? No problem, simply order a selection of samples so that you can see the colours in your kitchen. Colours can vary on screen and in different lighting so seeing the colour on a sample at home will help you in the decision-making process.

Splashbacks Behind a Hob

It is not recommended to use a Perspex® acrylic (Gloss and Matt and Painted Splashbacks) or an Aluminium Composite Splashback behind open heat sources, such as a cooker. These materials can only tolerate temperatures of up to 80°C before discolouring and warping. Therefore, it is advised not to fit acrylic or aluminium composite splashbacks behind an electric or gas hob. However, if you have an induction hob, you may place our Matt, Gloss and Painted Splashbacks behind it with a 50mm gap between the panel and the hob. Alternatively, for an aluminium composite splashback, a 150mm gap between the panel and hob is recommended behind an induction hob.

Our toughened glass splashbacks are the most suitable option to fit behind a heat source as they have high heat resistance.

Protective Backing

Our purple matt and gloss acrylic splashbacks feature a backing layer of vinyl for a flawless finish. This protective backing conceals adhesive and evens out wall imperfections for a smooth, uniform look. The result? Easy installation with no uneven edges.

Please do not peel this off - you will know if it is the protective film as it will have a blue sticker on it stating that it shouldn't be peeled off.

This was really handy when I needed some small bits of wood to mount some art pieces onto as I didn't have the tools to cut down a big sheet of ply myself. Really easy to use the website and the order was quickly produced and despatched. I'd have given 5 stars except the postage was relatively expensive to the cost of the order. I'd have been happy to wait a bit longer and pay less especially as the items I needed fitted in a medium parcel - for a bigger piece i appreciate it would need a courier but for a small order normal post would have been fine. I'd still use again but I'd probably wait and order more pieces to mitigate the cost of posting.

It was easy to order and I found it staightforward to to fix the secondary glazing on my own. Our house is 103 yrs old and the perspex was to cover the leaded light glass surrounding the front door. It is very discrete and not obvious at all but it has made a significant difference in the temperature in our hall. There was a slight hiccup in my order but it was dealt with so easily and quickly by Hetty that 5 stars are really warranted.
