Overall very good!
They kept us updated with delivery, however it was delayed and was delivered later than i had originally anticipated.
The packaging was very poor, only wrapped in Clingfilm!
The delivery guy brought it in pieces as a couple of bits had escaped!
Luckily it wasn’t damaged…

After normally being constantly disappointed by customer service in the UK, I have to say that today Ricardo at Cut My has absolutely reinstalled my faith in people!!
My project had to be done this weekend so I chose collection for today. Easy ordering process, good value for money and good quality product
The ordering form online was very easy to use and helpfully provided a visual of what I was ordering to help check it was correct. The order arrived on time and was of a good quality. Overall, very pleased and good value for money so would use Cut My again.
The maximum weight capacity depends on the size of your shelf, wall material, brackets, and fixings used. We recommend fixing larger shelves to masonry with our heavy duty adjustable brackets, using at least 50mm screws and anchors. This provides the strongest mounting. Smaller shelves or mounting to softer wall materials will reduce the weight capacity considerably.
What are the alcove shelves made of?
Our shelves start with a durable MDF core which we expertly machine and hand finish to your custom dimensions. The surfaces are covered in a scratch-resistant melamine laminate finish available in oak, white, black, and a paintable raw MDF version.
Are mounting brackets included?
Yes, standard screw brackets are available for all board thicknesses, while our heavy-duty adjustable brackets are available for 38mm and 50mm boards. Screws and wall anchors are not included - make sure to use appropriate fixings for your wall type.
Should I mount to the wall studs if installing on plasterboard?
Yes, try to align at least one bracket per shelf to a wall stud. This greatly improves stability. If stud alignment isn't possible, use specialised plasterboard fixings.
How are the alcove shelves installed?
First attach the adjustable brackets securely onto the wall, properly spaced to match the shelf width. Make sure the brackets are level, then set the shelf onto the bracket pegs.

I ordered 3 floating shelves. Despite there being an adjustment mechanism in the bracket to alter the angle of the shelf, there were no fitting instructions were sent with the shelves. One of the shelves had 3 cut marks on the top surface, which was disappointing since they cost £130.00 each. Apart from that they were great.
