Our hexagonal plinths are made of 12mm Moisture Resistant MDF with invisible mitred joints and professionally spray finished for longevity and durability.

Hexagonal pedestals mimic the wondrous shape seen throughout the natural kingdom. Known for being one of the strongest shapes for structural integrity our hexagonal pedestal fantastically creates a buzz with its manipulation of light as it aids the eye to its feature atop with a symmetrical shape and numerous vertex angles.

All our plinths are made to order in the UK, we do not hold any in stock ready made so please allow plenty of time if needed for an event.

Professionally spray-painted using water-based paints to a perfect satin finish they not only look great but are hardwearing and can be wiped clean making them ideal for a variety of uses such as visual merchandising displays, product display in a retail store, exhibiting items in galleries or museums, a point of purchase at a trade exhibition or as a side table at home.

Our hexagonal plinths are available in a range of widths and heights to suit your intended purpose. You can choose from white, black or a custom Dulux or RAL colour to match your brand or home décor.

What is the lead time on a plinth?

Our plinths are made to order to your specifications, we do not hold any in stock ready to be shipped so please allow plenty of time if your plinth is needed for a specific date.

How much weight can a plinth support?

Our plinths can support approximately 50kg.

What height plinth do I need?

This depends on what will be displayed on the plinth, the purpose of the plinth, where you are using the plinth and how many you require. For example, when displaying artwork you want to aim for a plinth that is at least twice as tall as the art for a visually pleasing composition. If using the plinths to display retail merchandise on a table, on a market stall for example, the plinths will need to be quite short so that you can still make eye contact with customers over the display. If you are using the plinth as a side table then 500mm is usually the preferred height.

If displaying numerous pieces we recommend buying plinths in a variety of heights to create a sense of movement that leads the eye from one display to the next.

Our plinths range in height from 200mm to 1200mm tall depending on the result you are intending for.
