As an infrequent DIYer I'm reluctant to invest my money in woodworking tools that I may only use once or twice. The ability to be able to get wood (or other sheet products) cut to the size you want and delivered to your door is a real boon. Speedy service and an easy order process make DIY a stress-free task.

Outboard bracket
My boss mounts a small outboard on a wooden bracket at the stern of her yacht, for her tender. This bracket was 30 years old and rotting. I ordered two small pieces of 25mm marine ply of just the right size. No cutting required. Just screwed them together and varnished. Swapped the fittings over and attached it to the railing on her yacht. Looks great and having the wood cut for me saved me some work and made the project super easy.

I required an outlet for a new portable…
I required an outlet for a new portable air conditioner. Although the conditioner itself is perfect, the manufacturer’s solution for fixing the vent to a window was rubbish. This company (“Cut My”) provided me with a piece of Perspex (laser) cut to the exact size with a perfect circular hole (for the vent tube) in exactly the place I specified and using Velcro tape I can now fix the vent over my window without detracting from the appearance of the window and thereby the perfect solution to my problem. Ordering, payment and delivery was perfect and the Perspex looks like real glass covering a large window. Thank heavens for the internet as I would have been stuck with a scruffy fix. My only suggestion is that Cut My should work with the manufacturer if the equipment and develop a fix for others to use as it beats their proposal hands-down. Well done Cut My (but what an awful company name!).
