The quality of product was very good. The protection of the product for transit was excellent. Whenever i recieved deliveries of timber or MDF, there is always an element of damage. This delivery was 100% damage free. If I ever do another MDF project I will use My Cut.

Here are some common uses for mild steel checker plates in thicknesses of 3mm, 4.5mm, and 6mm:
Flooring: A checker plate is often used to provide slip-resistant flooring in applications like walkways, platforms, stair treads, ramps, and work stands. The raised diamond pattern provides a good grip for foot traffic. A thicker 6mm plate is best for heavy-duty floors.
Structural framing: As an alternative to a flat plate, a checker plate can add stiffness when used for structural framing, bracing, and support legs. The embossed pattern increases rigidity. 4.5mm or 6mm would be preferred for structural use.
Truck bed lining: Checker plates are a popular choice for truck bed lining since they prevent cargo from slipping. A 3mm plate is often suitable for this application. The diamond pattern also allows rain, mud or debris to drain off easily.
Trench covers: Where lightweight removable trench covers are needed, a checker plate offers an anti-slip surface while still being easy to handle. 3mm would be suitable for covers over electrical or plumbing trenches.
