Our walnut veneered square plinths are made of veneered MDF with mitred joints and a semi-sheen lacquered finish creating a seamless, museum-quality plinth. Ideal for exhibitions, galleries, retail displays and even at home. The symmetrical square face of our square plinths adds that traditional sophistication that is often associated with display plinths.

Each walnut veneered square plinth is made to order in the UK, we do not hold any in stock ready made so please allow plenty of time if needed for an event.

The 0.5mm crown cut real wood laminate veneer ensures they not only look great but are hardwearing and can be wiped clean making them ideal for a variety of uses such as visual merchandising displays, product display in a retail store, exhibiting items in galleries or museums, a point of purchase at a trade exhibition or as a side table at home.

What is a plinth made of?

Each face of our walnut veneer plinths are made of a medite MDF core with a 0.5mm crown cut real walnut wood laminate veneer. They are made to a cabinet maker's standard with mitred joints.

What is the lead time on a plinth?

Our plinths are made to order to your specifications, we do not hold any in stock ready to be shipped so please allow plenty of time if your plinth is needed for a specific date.

How much weight can a plinth support?

Our plinths can support approximately 50kg.

What height plinth do I need?

This depends on what will be displayed on the plinth, the purpose of the plinth, where you are using the plinth and how many you require. For example, when displaying artwork you want to aim for a plinth that is at least twice as tall as the art for a visually pleasing composition. If using the plinths to display retail merchandise on a table, on a market stall for example, the plinths will need to be quite short so that you can still make eye contact with customers over the display. If you are using the plinth as a side table then 500mm is usually the preferred height.

If displaying numerous pieces we recommend buying plinths in a variety of heights to create a sense of movement that leads the eye from one display to the next.

Our plinths range in height from 200mm to 1200mm tall depending on the result you are intending for.
